Emma's Letter

My name is Emma June, I am 10 years old and I am autistic.

They say a picture paints a thousand words. If this is true, I would like to paint a picture so you see how I feel inside. I love to paint and have been told I’m very artistic, I just can’t communicate very well.

2014 Emma’s Emmbassadors Golf Tournament

May 12, 2014 @ 6:13 am posted by doug

We have shared all the winners at the 5th Annual Golf Tournament the past few days, but no one has won as much as the children in North Georgia who are affected by Autism.  This year’s event helped raised needed funds and awareness and we are excited to begin preparations for next year’s tournament.  Thank you again to all the volunteers who make the tournament run so smoothly; especially Joanne Langdon and Stephanie Vail.

Another big Shout Out to Chris MacMillan who tireless worked on all our communications media…many thanks, Fish!

Lastly, Beth Hiser and Kristina D’Antuano for their efforts to get so many local businesses involved with this year’s event by donating raffle prizes or sponsoring holes.  Thank you so much ladies!  Kristina is on the right below, but unfortunately Beth was out of town during this year’s event.

2014 Emma’s Emmbassadors Golf Tournament Champions

A record score was shot this year; 51!  At 21-under Par, these guys didn’t miss many putts.  We hope they come back again next year and defend their title.

Jeff Cox, Chad Parmelee, Mikey Stephens, and John Hudson were the recipients of a trophy and Pro Shop credit; not that they need anything to fix their golf game.  Well Done, Gents!

2014 Emma’s Emmbassadors Golf Tournament Flight Winners

May 8, 2014 @ 10:30 am posted by doug

It was a fierce competition this year with many incredible scores.  The golf course was not set up to be too easy and the players really stepped up their game to compete.  At the end, the field was split in half and two teams shared the median score.  After a score card playoff, the team of David Agan, Greg Stewart, Paul Carey and Mike Watkins prevailed as the Flight Winners.  Each received a trophy and Pro Shop credit.

Congratulations fellas!  See you next year!
